Any game that allows you to take over the world?

Ive been looking for a game that allows you to take over the world. Theres things like hearts of iron and europa universalis but in these games i dont beleive you can take over the world. i beleive they end at a date and are concentrated only in a certain part of the world. are there any strategy games like HOI that lets you take over the WHOLE world?
