Are we going to be able to live on mars soon?

i thought we would be there by now. were are all the cool flying cars and such. when will the aliens be seen for sure and everyone will be happy knowing they exist. are they working on breaking the ice to form water or melting it from mars beneath the surface? i mean also to say europa will we be able to go and live there to? kinda far from earth. but both have ice (water) i know mars has no Oxygen not sure about europa though. hows the atmosphere there? what would gravity be like on europa i don't want to be bouncing around everywhere either.
