Gay marriage opponents, do you consider humans and animals to be equal?

humans and animals are equal as life is concerned. But animals can't possibly give consent to marry someone so that's completely different. Basically I have the same question as you. Those people are just insecure and uncomfortable with the idea, but instead of saying it they find sorry excuses like this to justify their discrimination and bigotry. Pathetic really..
