Why does anyone care about the fact that gay couples can't (directly) reproduce? Is the world underpopulated?

they just use that as an excuse for not wanting gay couples to exist and/or get married. they dont have any other reason why to dislike gay people because they dont want to admit that they are selfish closed minded a** holes
