Yugioh what effect goes first mizuho or shinai?

Mizuhos resolves first as it is the triggering effect. Shinai is then sent to the graveyard. Once the chain has resolved the player can choose a target for shinai's recovery. Shinai itself however is not valid as it's own effects states as much so if there isn't a samurai in the graveyard beside shinai the player cannot recover anything.
