What type of dog should I get?

I'm probably moving into a condo soon and i want a dog but me nor my mom like big dogs. So i wanted like a yorkie or a maltese. But then i saw a cavapoo! They are sooo cute, but do they get big?? There is this dog breeder by my house called doggie in the window and they get different puppies every week. So by this christmas i will get a puppy!! But which one???? Plz help me!
